Friday was a beautiful crisp, cold but sunny day when we set off for Langsett on the edge of the Peak National Park. However as we drove over the tops we hit a bank of fog but it didn't deter us. When we arrived it was still a little misty and the trees were touched with frost. they looked beautiful.
We saw lots of robins - one was quite confident and came hopping around our feet. We also heard grouse on the moors but only caught a fleeting glimpse of them.
So after the walk we treated ourselves to meat & potato pie and a cheeky drink at the Waggon & Horses - highly recommended :)
