The River Wye runs through a deep limestone gorge and the scenery is breathtaking with sheer limestone cliffs rising above you. You reach a point along the riverbank where the path disappears and the river completely fills the ravine. Stepping stones have been placed to enable you to continue your journey.
And so the walk begins...
The River Wye from a bridge
Wormhill Springs
The white limestone cliff alongside the river
This the muddy path we had to take
Moss heaven
The stepping stones
