Kinder Reservoir

As the weather was so nice yesterday we took a walk up to Kinder reservoir, Hayfield. It's a great place for us to go as it's not far from where we live. Some of the trees were looking lovely with their autumnal colours.

The steep walk up White Brow

This photo gives an idea of how steep it is...

The reservoir levels are still low

You can see The Cage at Lyme park from the Snake Path

Not sure what this bird is but if you do please let me know

As our car was parked right outside this establishment
it would have been rude not to call in for a drink :)

Lyme Park

On Friday we went deer stalking at Lyme Park :) We eventually found some but they were quite a distance away.

The Great Ridge

Yesterday was cool, windy and cloudy but was forecast to be the best day of the weekend so after much discussion of where to go we took a trip back to Mam Tor and The Great Ridge.
